First experience with PS/2s: I first worked with PS/2 equipment when I was in the 2nd or 3rd grade. I was into computers then, just as I am today. Had a Kaypro XT clone for my own use back then. It wasn't until sometime around 1994/5 that I saw an ad for a used business machines shop that had PS/2s stacked to the ceiling--and my dream of owning "one of those great computers" finally came true.

I was hooked when I went there, and got my Model 70. Many visits to that store brought many other "members" of my PS/2 collection.

Personal Statement:

I use my PS/2s for both productive work and tinkering--so as to learn what does and does not work.

I measure 6 foot 2 inches tall, and weigh about 245 pounds. I'm 21 years old.

As per the picture above, I'm just sitting in front of my 9595-0MT.

Good habits: I'm friendly, believe in being honest, and work hard to get the things I want to have.

Bad habits: (Shocking, eh?) Eating too much, somewhat self-centered, quick temper.

The entire basement of the Walsh House is dedicated to my computers. For the most part, I have plenty of room for what I do. However, the whole place was a mess when I came in and still is, despite the fact that I do try to clean it up.

You can think of these pictures as continually outdated, if that. I am shooting some new ones (12/29) but it may be a while before they are posted.

Have spent all my life so far living in Farmer City, Illinois. I couldn't think of a better place to be. Nice and quiet with plenty of computer work to keep my small business going.
