Writing to Write Form 1 Package - Version 2.0P

         This package contains fixes to Writing To Write Form I and
         should be applied to ALL Writing To Write Form I installations.

         This package contains the following fixes for Writing To Write
         Form I:

         * Printer patches which prevent student work from
            being truncated in Units 1-8 (previously available
            as the WTWPRT package);

         * A fix to eliminate the 6-character limitation for
            teacher id's in ICLAS. The WTW Teacher Utility
            will now accept teacher id's of up to 10 characters
            long;

         * The INT4DAPI.COM file is updated for improved
            playback quality when using the M-Audio card

          INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
    ********************************************************************

         This package enables a new master file for WTW Form I
         (WTWMAST2.BTR) which will be used in place of the previous WTW
         master file. This will effectively eliminate all existing
         student and class bookmarks. If the package is installed prior
         to the beginning of the school term, this should present no
         problem. You may simply apply the update, and ignore the BEFORE
         INSTALLATION and AFTER INSTALLATION instructions.

         If this package is installed during the school year (while WTW
         Form I is actively being used), the BEFORE INSTALLATION and
         AFTER INSTALLATION steps outlined below MUST be performed to
         retain student bookmarks.

        AFTER INSTALLATION
    ********************************************************************

         The following steps will update existing school and class
         bookmarks in the new Writing To Write master file. They must
         be performed by EACH Writing To Write Form I teacher:

         1.  Make sure you have a copy of the WTW School List;

         2. Logon at a workstation as a Writing To Write Form I
             teacher;

         3. Enter the Writing To Write Teacher Utility (the first
             teacher to perform this step will be required to create the
             master file by answering Y to the prompt to do so);

         4. A red box will appear which indicates, "Classroom not
             found. Create?". Press Y to create the classroom.

         5. You will now see the initial Classroom Defaults screen.

         6. Use the TAP key to tab over to the Next Unit at Logon
             field; Use the School List to determine on which Unit your
             class was working before the patch was applied. Change
             this entry to reflect the appropriate Unit.

         7.  Press the TAP key to tab to the Components Completed field;
             A box will open up on the screen;

         8. Review your class on the School List; Determine the last
             Component the majority of your students completed. Using
             the TAB key, enter a Y for those Components completed;

         9. Press ENTER. Press ENTER again; Press any key when the red
             box appears;

        10. Select AUTOREGISTER and proceed to re-register your
             students;

        11. If you need to adjust individual student records, select
             PEOPLE, then select STUDENT. Select the appropriate
             student and edit the record. Do this for all student
             records which need to be adjusted individually.
