Meridian Data's CDNETEX.EXE returns its own version number, e.g. 4.70. J.M.A. Hall's CDEMU2.COM returns 2.10 (it is an MSCDEX emulator for networked CD-ROM drives). Windows95 returns v2.95. Novell DOS 7 NWCDEX.EXE returns the same version number reported in its startup message
